Rapper, actor and second in line to the Smith family throne, Jaden Smith has dropped his second full length studio album; Erys. Released through MSFTSMusic (Jaden's very own record label) and Roc Nation the album follows up his 2017 record, Syre.

With collaborations from Tyler, the Creator, Trinidad James, ASAP Rocky, Kid Cudi, Lido, and his sister Willow, the record comes in at 17 tracks long and is the mean big brother of his first album; “SYRE is the nice one, kind of the more sensitive one, and ERYS is just kind of like, don’t really care at all" Jaden explained to Zane Lowe during an interview on Beats 1. He also discussed the album’s collaborative artists;“Tyler’s verse so last minute, like right at the deadline of the album” which meant the landscape of the album was only cemented right before the release date.

Smith, now 21, recently announced he would play a young Kanye West in the Showtime series, Omniverse, which seems fitting as, if this album is anything to go by, Smith is following closely in West's steps in terms of thinking outside the ol' boxeroo on the music front.

You can listen to the album on all the usual streaming services.
