GALLERY: Music Seen, A Bi-Monthly Photo Exhibit For Charity

Photographer: Pat Stevenson

Well that was bloody fun! Thanks to our great pal, legendary Aus photographer and all-round good guy, Pat Stevenson for having us.

Australia’s favourite musicians met the nation's finest photographers this week, for a bi-monthly Aus Music Photography Exhibit. The event was held at Sydney’s Chippendale pub, the Lord Gladstone Hotel.

The core idea behind Music Seen is to dive into Australia’s modern music history, while celebrating local talent and highlighting the cultural significance of music in Australia. The organiser, Pat, was inspired to create an event to challenge Gladys Berejiklian and the NSW Government’s harsh new regulations and restrictions effecting the local music industry.

Even more importantly, all proceeds from print sales headed to charity. “My aim is to set up a semi-permanent display of images at one of my favourite pubs in Sydney," says Stevenson, "so these incredible photographers get the air time they deserve while also raising some money for charities of the photographer’s choice."

If you’re passionate about the Australian music scene and you like exceptional photography, keep an eye out on for the announce of the second event!
