Read: Hey Sydney, You Should Check Out The Second Instalment Of 'Music Seen' On Tuesday 27th August
Words by: Emily Smith
Music meets photography in ‘Music Seen, a bi-monthly exhibition held at the Lord Gladstone Hotel in Chippendale, and you’re going to want to check it out.
With a new exhibit launching every two months, the latest one catching our eye begins on Tuesday 27th August at 6pm.
Take a trip into Australia’s modern music history, and celebrate local artists and the significance of music in Australia. The whole aim of the event is to challenge Gladys Berejiklian and the NSW government’s harsh new rules affecting the local music industry – we can get behind that!
The organiser, Pat Stevenson, promises exceptional photography and stirring music – all in one of Sydney’s best pubs, giving artists the exposure they deserve but often can’t receive.
This month’s exhibit will feature work by talented artists including James Adams, Michelle G Hunder, and Pat O’Hara. And if you need another reason to convince you? All proceeds from print sales at the event go straight to charities of the photographers’ choice!
So pop down to the pub (any bloody excuse amirite?) and check it out!
