overview

The Brief: As part of our ongoing content production partnership with Snapchat, we were approached to help bring to life their latest campaign 'Making It To Made It', with their latest brand partner, Samsung. The series focuses on influential up-and-coming youth from all walks of life (musicians, a pro skater, and an inspiring business leader).

How it Played Out: Over a 12 week period the team at Only Everything produced 3 full-day location shoots. Fusing original content, and supplied archived footage and media, we compiled a mini-docuseries-like production designed to live on the ‘Discover’ section of Snapchat (AUS). Each episode was then broken down into 2 x 120-second episodes with both 6-second and 15-second cut downs, and amplified with paid and earned media.

Episode 1

The first episode of ‘Making It To Made It’ features pro skateboarder Ethan Copeland. We spent the day with Ethan at some pretty breathtaking sites, skating, chatting, and hanging out... Ethan detailed his ridiculously inspiring journey and showed us a few tricks along the way ;)

Episode 2

In part 2 of ‘Making It To Made it’, we were lucky enough to spend the day with Sydney pop duo, Cat & Calmell. Shooting at their local recording studio here in Sydney, we spoke to the girls about their journey, how they met, their purpose, and what’s in store for the future. We also took to a warehouse in Marrickville where we shot a fake music video and captured an abundance of beautiful b-roll.

In part 3 of ‘Making It To Made it’, we spent the day with ‘Thankyou’ founder Dan Flynn in Melbourne. Thankyou is an Australian social enterprise. From the sales of its water, body care, and food products, the company donates funds to safe water, hygiene and sanitation programs, and food security programs in 16 countries. We explored Daniel’s inspiring story, thriving off of his energy and passion to change the world.
